This year, affected by the Russia-Ukraine incident, the development of Russia's forest industry has been affected to a certain extent. In order to adapt to the new international trade environment as soon as possible, Russia has also begun to re-investigate and integrate Russia's forest resources. A few days ago, an investigation by relevant departments found that export trading companies experienced a significant drop in sales in the face of trade bans expressly stipulated by unfriendly countries and their own countries.
Previously, due to the restrictions on the import of forestry equipment in Russia, the workload of many loggers and processing plants has decreased compared with last year. Russia has also decided to develop and research suitable forestry equipment according to the latest forest conditions. In addition to this, the Russian pulp and furniture industry has performed well this year: pulp production is the same as last year, and furniture production is a few percent higher, which to a certain extent makes up for the loss of Russian wood exports this year.
Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko said: The key task this year is to create conditions for stability. The Russian government will reduce the production costs of enterprises, and then restore the export supply of products through high redistribution to new partners. The 10 billion rubles will bring strong support to Russia's timber industry.
