According to customs statistics, from January to March 2022, the total import and export of wood furniture in my country was 3.242 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 5.15%. Among them, the export value was 3.109 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 4.46%; the import value was 134 million US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 18.69%.
The total import and export of ordinary wood products (excluding furniture) was 2.551 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 21.63%. Among them, the export value was 2.395 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 24.68%; the import value was 157 million US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 11.48%.
The total import and export value of bamboo furniture was 45 million US dollars, an increase of 18.19% over the same period last year. Among them, the export volume accounted for 99.8% of the total imports and export, an increase of 18.06% year on year.
The total import and export of other wooden frame seats were 2.33 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 0.42%. Among them, the export value was 2.26 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 0.53%; the import value was 73 million US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 2.66%.
The total import and export of wood-based panels were 1.932 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 25.89%. Among them, the export value was 1.746 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 23.69%; the import value was 186 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 51.08%.
