Spot checks found that the unqualified problems were mainly concentrated in the formaldehyde emission and durability items. Among them, the unqualified batches of formaldehyde emission items in products such as office chairs, spring soft mattresses, wooden furniture, bathroom furniture, particleboard, medium density fiberboard, and brown fiber elastic mattresses accounted for 7% of the total unqualified batches of these 7 products. 25.5%. The problem of unqualified durability items is also more prominent. For example, a total of 28 batches of unqualified products were found in brown fiber elastic mattresses, and 27 batches of unqualified products were found in durability items; a total of 16 batches of unqualified products were found in sofas, and the durability items were unqualified. There are 4 batches.
Reasons for the unqualified formaldehyde emission project: First, some enterprises use low-cost and poor-quality adhesives in pursuit of interests, or the formula of self-made adhesives is unscientific and the glue-making process control is not strict; Mechanical strength, excessive use of adhesives, or unstable control of the amount of glue applied; third, some enterprises do not strictly control the quality of the purchase of raw materials such as wood-based panels, and the harmful substances in the raw materials exceed the standard. The reasons for the unqualified durability of furniture products are not only product design, process control, etc., but also subjective factors such as "saving materials and simplifying labor".
