Industry expert Chen Shuihe said that furniture is the leading forest product in Guangdong, so furniture exports are very important. In the first half of this year, the export value of most furniture enterprises in Guangdong increased to varying degrees.

According to statistics, in the first half of the year, Guangdong's furniture and products exported to the United States totaled 2.922 billion US dollars, an increase of 8.59% over the same period of the previous year, accounting for 31.36% of Guangdong's furniture exports. Guangdong's furniture exports rely on style and quality to win the US market growth.
Except for the United States, the export value of furniture and products to Japan totaled 517 million US dollars, an increase of 11.35% over the same period of the previous year, accounting for 5.55% of the export value of Guangdong furniture; the export value of furniture and products to the UK totaled 422 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 422 million US dollars. The same period increased by 41.87%; the export value of furniture and products to Australia totaled 392 million US dollars, an increase of 1.78% over the same period of the previous year; the amount of furniture and products to South Korea was 294 million US dollars, a decrease of 25.74% compared with the same period of the previous year.
