On July 27, the National Bureau of Statistics released the profit data of industrial enterprises above designated size in the country from January to June 2022.
Data show that in the first half of this year, the operating income of the national furniture manufacturing industry was 360.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 4%; the operating cost was 302.32 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 4%; the total profit was 17.48 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.6%.
The operating income of the textile industry was 1,248.98 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.7%; the operating cost was 1,116.47 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 5.2%; the total profit was 42.63 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 5.3%.
The operating income of wood processing and wood, bamboo, rattan, palm and grass products industry was 474.64 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.1%; the operating cost was 429.92 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.2%; the total profit was 15.52 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 4.9%.
Overall, from January to June this year, industrial enterprises above designated size achieved operating income of 65414.73 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.1%; operating costs were 55,287.11 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.2%; total profit was 4270.22 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.0%.
