Russian Satellite News Agency, Moscow, April 22. The Russian Animal and Plant Inspection and Quarantine Bureau announced that since the beginning of this year, the Republic of Buryatia has exported a total of 145,758 cubic meters of wood to China.
Of this, 85 percent was sawn timber, the bureau noted.
Exports of round logs from the Republic of Buryatia to China exceeded 21,000 cubic meters.
According to the news, all the products have successfully passed the phytosanitary inspection and quarantine, and fully meet the quality inspection requirements of China.
The Republic of Buryatia belongs to the Far Eastern Federal District of Russia. The Republic of Buryatia exports timber and its products, mineral products, metals and their products to China.
