The Ukrainian parliament called on the European Commission, the European Parliament, the Council of the European Union and the World Trade Organization to demand sanctions on timber from Russia and Belarus, as well as fish and seafood from the Russian Federation.
In addition, the Parliament requested a ban on the sale, supply, transfer, export, lease to the Russian Federation and Belarus of equipment and its components for logging and wood processing, as well as for fishing and processing fish and seafood.
In addition, the parliament demanded the prohibition of maintenance of such equipment and the denial of recognition of all certificates of Russian products of the environmental certification system still operating on the territory of the Russian Federation.
