MDF is usually denser than plywood. Although it is composed of separated fibers, it can be used as a building material like plywood.

MDF can be used in various sizes and thicknesses, cutting is simple and smooth, without damage or cracking. MDF’s surface is smooth and suitable for coloring, gluing, laminating and texture printing. Some manufacturers can provide a series of different types of MDF, including the standard type, flame-retardant type, moisture resistant type, outdoor type and high-density type. These characteristics will not be affected by cutting or machining. This kind of fiberboard has become an ideal man-made board for many industries due to the above-mentioned characteristics and advantages, such as furniture, construction, guide signs and shop decoration.
