The specific judgment is that the color of Russian ash is darker than that of northeastern ash.
Oak: Produced in Northeast China, the wood is hard and the wood grain is very similar to red oak. Many merchants use oak wood to pass off as red oak. At present, there are two businesses in Nanjing that specialize in pastoral style and use oak wood to pass off as red oak. One of them is still pretending to be someone else, while the other one has half-heartedly admitted that it is Zakmu without criticizing it by name. The market price of oak wood is similar to that of ash wood.
2. Mid-range wood:
Rubber wood: domestic rubber wood and Southeast Asian rubber wood. Generally speaking, Southeast Asian rubber wood is better than domestic rubber wood, among which Malaysian rubber wood is the best. Rubber wood is white in color and hard, making it an ideal material for furniture. The disadvantage is that if left untreated, it may turn yellow. If the primer is not done properly, woodworms may occur (this happens rarely, but it is not ruled out. White wood is the most susceptible to woodworms, followed by maple).
Cedar wood is a precious subtropical tree species in my country and a national second-level protected plant. It has beautiful texture, tough texture, fresh fragrance and bright color, and is most suitable for making solid wood furniture. Cedar wood is rich in oil and has a special fragrance. Its main aromatic components are cypress and lemon terpene. Cedar wood can be used as medicine and is also an important raw material for making Tibetan incense. The furniture made into it can not only prevent insects, but also calm the mind and nourish the mind. It is world-famous for its environmental protection. Therefore, it has been designated as environmentally friendly furniture by the United Nations Department of Humanities and Humanities, and enjoys the reputation of "living, breathing furniture".
Teak: Except Thai and Burmese teak. The red roses and yellow roses currently used in the Nanjing market are what we call teak.
Beech: The beech currently used in the Nanjing market is Burmese beech, commonly known as water melon.
Southwest birch: Produced in Yunnan, Myanmar. The current cherry wood is generally faked as southwestern birch.
