Wood flooring is divided into solid wood flooring, solid wood composite flooring, and reinforced flooring; Ceramic tiles are also known as floor tiles.

Wood flooring and ceramic tiles have their own advantages and disadvantages, which can be compared from the following perspectives

Practicality:

1. Will there be frequent guests coming and going at home, or do family members have a habit of wearing slippers, as tiles are relatively wear-resistant and easy to clean compared to the floor;

2. Will there be times of high humidity throughout the year? No matter what type of wooden floor it is, it will deform or corrode due to heavy moisture, but to varying degrees. However, if the tiles are not uneven and non slip, it is important to consider whether there are elderly or children at home who are prone to falls;

3. How about indoor lighting? For strong lighting, non reflective wooden flooring can be considered, while for weak lighting, light colored tiles can be considered.

Decorative:

Considering the overall design of walls, suspended ceilings, and furniture in the living room. For example, there are many wooden structures on the walls, and they are all made of wooden veneer, or the furniture style is classical, which will look more harmonious when combined with the floor color. For example, if it is a hard line style or the color is mainly black, white, and gray, ceramic tiles or other materials can be considered.

Economy:

If you can afford it economically, or if you have elderly and children at home, you can choose a private space such as a bedroom with solid wood flooring for warmth and good foot feel. However, the price of solid wood flooring is relatively high, making it a bit troublesome to manage. Secondly, all wooden flooring is paved, which is both warm and comfortable, and easy to manage.
