It is understood that, in fact, the thickness of the 8 mm floor has reached the thickness of the international standard. For wooden floors, the thickness is not the standard that determines the quality of the floor. Thick plates are the same as thin plates. Once the surface is worn out, they cannot be used. Therefore, the quality of the floor surface layer is largely related to the service life of the wooden floor, rather than the thickness of the board. What's more, if a floor heating floor is installed in the home, the thick floor will affect the heat transfer.

Take laminate flooring as an example. The laminate flooring is generally composed of four layers of materials. The surface and the inside are respectively a wear-resistant layer, a decorative layer, a base material layer and a balance layer. The wear-resistant layer is made of surface paper impregnated with melamine resin with wear-resistant material aluminum oxide, which is a key part of determining the life of the laminate floor.

The wear-resistant layer imparts important physical and chemical properties such as wear resistance, scratch resistance, cigarette burn resistance, pollution resistance, corrosion resistance, and moisture resistance to the surface of the reinforced wood floor. The number of wear-resistant revolutions of household laminate flooring should be greater than or equal to 6000 revolutions, and the number of wear-resistant revolutions of laminate flooring used in public places should be greater than or equal to 9000 revolutions.

How to distinguish the quality of floor wear

1. First of all, it must look at the test report. There are clear instructions on the formaldehyde and wear resistance of the floor.

2. For laminate flooring, you can take a small piece of product and polish the surface of the product with 180 grit sandpaper for 20-30 times. If the decorative paper is found to be worn, it means that the wear-resistant layer is easily damaged to a certain extent and is not wear-resistant. Generally, the qualified wear-resistant layer will not be damaged after 50 times of sanding, and it will not damage the decorative paper. (This method is a simple household test method)

3. Observe whether the surface layer is clear and whether there are white spots.
