1. Solid wood board.
As the name suggests, solid wood panels are made of whole wood. These boards are durable and have natural texture, making them the best choice for decoration. However, this kind of board has high cost and high construction technology requirements, so it is rarely used in decoration. Solid wood boards are generally classified according to the actual name of the board, and there is no unified standard specification. nbsp2. Splint.
Plywood is also called plywood, and it is commonly called thin core board in the industry. It is made of three or more layers of one-millimeter thick veneers or thin plates pasted and hot pressed. It is currently the most commonly used material for handmade furniture. Splints are generally divided into 6 specifications (1 cm is 1 mm), 3 cm, 5 cm, 9 cm, 12 cm, 15 cm and 18 cm.
3. Decorative panel.
Decorative panels, commonly known as panels. It is a decorative board with a single-sided decorative effect made by using plywood as the base material by accurately cutting the solid board into a thin veneer with a thickness of about 0.2mm. It is a special way of the splint, with a thickness of 3 cm. The decorative panel is currently a high-grade decorative material that is different from mixed oil.
4. Blockboard.
Blockboard, commonly known as big core board in the industry. The big core board is made from the middle of two single boards. The price of a large core board is cheaper than that of a thin core board, and the vertical bending pressure strength (differentiated by the core material direction) is poor, but the horizontal bending pressure strength is high.
5. Particleboard.
Particleboard is a thin sheet made of wood scraps as the main raw material, infiltrated with glue and additives. The pressing method can be divided into two types: extruded plate and flat plate. The main advantage of this board is that it is extremely cheap. Its shortcomings are also obvious: the strength is extremely poor. Generally not suitable for large-scale or mechanically required furniture.
6. Density board.
Density board, also known as fiberboard. It is based on wood fiber or other plant fibers as raw materials, and is made of urea-formaldehyde resin or other suitable adhesives. According to its density, it is divided into high-density board, medium-density board, and low-density board. The quality of MDF is soft, impact resistant and easy to reprocess. In foreign countries, MDF is a good material for making furniture, but the national height board standard is several times lower than the international standard, and the quality of MDF in my country needs to be improved.
7. Fireproof board.
Fireproof board is a decorative board made of silicon material or calcium material as the main raw material, mixed with a certain proportion of fiber materials, lightweight aggregates, adhesives and chemical additives, and made by autoclave technology. More and more new materials are currently being used, and their use is not only a factor of fire prevention. The construction of fireproof board has high requirements for pasting glue, and the price of good-quality fireproof board is higher than that of decorative board. The thickness of the fireproof board is generally 0.8 mm, 1 mm and 1.2 mm.
8. Melamine board.
Melamine board, the full name is melamine impregnated film paper finishing board. It is a decorative board made by soaking paper of different colors or textures in melamine resin glue, drying to a certain degree of curing, laying it on the surface of particleboard, medium density fiberboard or hard fiberboard, and pressing it.
Melamine board is a wall decoration material. Now some people use melamine boards to counterfeit laminate flooring for floor decoration, which is inappropriate.
