African pineapple grid
The material properties of African pineapple lattice are: strong luster, obvious interlaced texture, very heavy and hard, high strength, and large shrinkage. Difficult to saw, easy to blunt saw, sawdust irritate the nose and throat. Corrosion resistance, termite resistance, slow drying, good stability and high density.
Good hardness, suitable for heavy construction, durable timber, bridge, port and dock timber, sleepers, heavy duty floors, vehicles, fishing boats, tool handles, etc.
Indonesian pineapples tend to be red, and African pineapples tend to be yellow-brown, and the color difference is more obvious. Indonesian pineapple lattice wood is hard, and feels good, and the oiliness is relatively high. African pineapple lattice has strong luster, interlaced texture and low oiliness.
