Chinese handicrafts have an uninterrupted history of more than 10,000 years. After three periods of development and evolution in ancient, modern and modern times, they are facing the test of transformation and regeneration. Transformation does not mean demise, but regeneration in a new way. However, the transformation process is after all a transformation. This fact is cruel. But the principle of survival of the fittest applies not only to the natural world, but also to the cultural industry. We all clearly see that during the 100th century of the 20th century, traditional handicrafts gradually declined from their heyday to the end of the century and have declined to historical lows.

But also in this century, our collation and research on the historical evolution, development laws, and cultural connotation of traditional handicrafts have gradually flourished, reaching an unprecedented peak by the end of the century. The former is closely related to the transformation and transformation of society, and is an objective fact that has already occurred, not a theoretical issue. The latter is based on a substantial increase in the level of knowledge and knowledge, the summary of history and the prediction of future trends, there is the question of how to combine theory and practice. This paper intends to analyze the future of traditional handicrafts in the 21st century from the potential transformation factors of traditional handicrafts in modern times, the conflict between industrial society and traditional handicrafts. Whether the conclusion is correct or not is yet to be tested by practice.

Thus opened a new era of Chinese cultural history. However, in such a violent social shock, the traditional handicrafts seem to have little change on the surface, generally inherited the style and skills of the Qing Dynasty, and continued for decades from time to time. But from the analysis of its correlation with social form and lifestyle, we can see the potential factors that will force it to transform.
