First, what is carbonized wood floor

Carbonized wood floor is a homogeneous carbonization treatment of wood at high temperature without any chemical agent, so that the wood surface has a dark brown aesthetic effect, and has the effect of anti-corrosion and anti-biological invasion. Its moisture content is low, not easy to absorb water, The material is stable, non-deformed, completely degreased and non-greasy, with good thermal insulation performance, simple construction, convenient brushing, and no special odor. It is an ideal material for indoor and sauna rooms, and has become a new trend in bathroom decoration; its anti-corrosion, anti-corrosion, anti-corrosion Moth-eaten, anti-deformation and cracking, and high-temperature resistance have also become ideal materials for outdoor swimming pool landscapes.

Second, the advantages of carbonized wood floor

1. Improvement of durability and corrosion resistance: the floor components undergo complex chemical reactions during the carbonization process, changing some components of the floor, reducing the nutrients of floor decay bacteria, and inhibiting bacteria from this link in the food chain. Growth of the class in the floor. Therefore, the corrosion resistance and weather resistance of the carbonized floor are significantly improved, and it has the effects of anti-rot, anti-termite and anti-fungal;

2. Environmental protection: The environmental protection drying carbonization process is different from the chemical modification of the floor, and the floor carbonization treatment is a pure physical technology. Only the temperature and water vapor are involved in the floor carbonization process, and no chemicals are added;

3. Improvement of dimensional stability: The floor is heat treated in a high temperature (160-230℃) environment. By reducing the concentration of hydroxyl groups in the floor components, reducing the hygroscopicity and internal stress of the floor, the exchange capacity of the carbonized floor with external moisture is significantly reduced, and the wet swelling can be reduced by more than 50%, which greatly improves the dimensional stability of the floor: This greatly reduces the deformation, shrinkage and wet expansion of the floor caused by moisture changes during use;

4. Enhanced moisture resistance: After the floor is subjected to carbonization heat treatment, the water adsorption mechanism of the floor has changed. With the increase of the treatment temperature, the hemicellulose with strong hygroscopic properties is degraded during the treatment process, which reduces the hygroscopicity of the floor. The hydrogen bond between water molecules and floor molecules is reduced, which greatly reduces the hygroscopicity and water absorption of the floor, and allows the carbonized floor to maintain a low moisture content in wet air. The equilibrium moisture content of the carbonized floor is more than 40% lower than that of the untreated floor; the equilibrium moisture content of the carbonized floor is also lower, and the moisture content of the manufactured floor can be maintained at 6% when used under greenhouse conditions. Therefore, the carbonized floor The product is not easy to deform and crack, and can be used in dry and cloudy environments;

5. Color: The carbonized floor has the same color inside and outside, and the color can be uniform and durable on the entire board surface. The color of carbonized floor is physical coloring and will not change with time, and the decorative effect of carbonized floor is always the same (can be used as antique solid wood floor);

6. Easy to maintain: The resin and some contents of the carbonized floor are precipitated during the carbonization process. Therefore, the surface layer of the carbonized floor has no oily components such as resin and is easy to paint. At the same time, because the carbonized floor has the advantages of anti-corrosion, good stability, moisture resistance, etc., the maintenance of the carbonized floor in daily use is quite easy;

7. Thermal conductivity: The thermal conductivity is good, the skin and the carbonized wood will not feel any discomfort in contact, completely bid farewell to the coldness of the traditional ceramic tile, and the carbonized floor is an ideal material for modern interior decoration.

Third, the disadvantages of carbonized wood floors

1. Wood that loses moisture is more brittle than wood that contains moisture. Although the carbonized floor is strong, it loses the original elasticity of the wood. The foot feel and touch are not as soft and comfortable as other floors;

2. After high temperature and drying, the carbonized floor is a little less authentic. Although the carbonized floor has no peculiar smell, it also loses the pure natural fragrance of wood;

3. Although the carbonized floor retains the natural texture of the wood, it loses its natural color. The carbonized floor is often dominated by dark colors, and the color is not as bright as other floors;

It is suitable for the northern desert climate, and carbonization technology is difficult, so there are not many people who can really do carbonization in the whole industry.
