1. Different process
Carbonized wood is a kind of wood with partial carbonization properties obtained by placing wood in a relatively closed environment and subjecting it to high temperature treatment.
Preservative wood is a wood that uses preservatives to penetrate and solidify the wood and then use the wood to prevent the decay of decay bacteria and the function of biological damage.
2. Different performance
Carbonized wood has the characteristics of anti-deformation and cracking, anti-corrosion, not easy to absorb water, good thermal insulation performance, convenient for painting, environmental protection, anti-moth-eaten, and high temperature resistance. But the color is darker, more brittle, and the foot feel and touch are average.
Anti-corrosion wood has the characteristics of anti-corrosion, anti-mildew, anti-moth, anti-termite attack, easy to paint and color. However, preservatives need to be added to make preservative wood, which has a slight chemical odor, uneven color, and large color difference.
3. Different uses:
Carbonized wood is widely used in saunas and bathrooms, decorative wall panels, swimming pool floors, gardening pieces, courtyards, furniture, etc.
Anti-corrosion wood is mainly used for outdoor floors, garden landscapes, flower stands, wooden swings, wooden planks, and interior decoration such as floors and furniture.
4, the cost is different
The treatment process of carbonized wood is more complicated than that of preservative wood, and the time and automation are higher than that of preservative wood.
The cost of preservative wood is lower than that of carbonized wood, and it can be produced in large quantities.
