According to the latest customs data, in the first two months of 2024, Australia's timber export trade volume to China reached 94.2 million yuan, which is 1.05 times the trade volume for the entire year of 2023.
At the same time, the export volume also increased significantly, reaching 85,700 cubic meters, which is 2.57 times the import volume in 2023.
In addition, it is worth noting that logs accounted for 92.7% of the total export volume, or 79,000 cubic meters. However, compared with the nearly 600,000 cubic meters before the ban was implemented, there is still a very large gap.
