On January 17, 2026, MUMU take an in-depth training session focused on custom cabinets and wardrobes, aimed at elevating the professional skills of our sales and technical teams. The program was designed to better serve diverse scenarios, with a strong emphasis on residential villas and high-end restaurants, while also covering hotel applications.
The training covered key areas: standard sizing, ergonomic design principles, material selection logic, and hardware configuration. For custom cabinets, particleboard and multi-layer solid wood panels are the standard body materials, with quartz stone for countertops and PET doors as a popular choice. Wall cabinet heights are fixed at 70-75 cm, with a 55-60 cm clearance to the countertop to ensure comfortable access. Cabinet door widths are scenario-specific: 50-60 cm for hotels (balancing grandeur and usability) and 25-30 cm for apartments (optimizing space efficiency).
In the wardrobe segment, heights range from 220-270 cm for hotels (with trimming above 270 cm for perfect fit) and 200-270 cm for apartments (flexible to ceiling height). Wardrobes support custom glass doors and LED lighting for enhanced functionality. Moisture content control was highlighted throughout, ensuring panels remain stable and free from deformation or cracking over time. Bathroom vanities use moisture-proof particleboard, multi-layer solid wood, or PVC panels to address humid environments effectively.
Ergonomics was a core focus. Countertop heights are calibrated to reduce back strain, wall cabinet handles are positioned for natural arm reach, wardrobe hanging zones are optimized (140-160 cm for long garments, 90-110 cm for short), and vanity mirrors are set at adult eye level.
We also systematically reviewed material and hardware knowledge. Cabinet bodies use particleboard for cost-effectiveness or multi-layer solid wood for strength and moisture resistance. PET doors are favored for their smooth texture and easy maintenance. Hardware recommendations included DTC (stainless steel), Blum (100,000-cycle durability), and Hettich, with guidance on matching choices to budget and usage.
Through lectures, case studies, and hands-on practice,we gained a complete understanding of custom cabinet and wardrobe systems. This training strengthens MUMU's ability to deliver precise, scenario-specific solutions for villas, restaurants, and hotels, driving higher client satisfaction and market competitiveness.
