Engineered and flexible solid wood panels for curved architectural structures

The demand for organic, flowing forms in contemporary architecture and interior design has driven innovation in materials science. Our flexible solid wood panels meet this need, combining the traditional beauty of wood with the flexibility to fit curved walls, cabinets and custom decorative elements.

Material composition and characteristics
Cross-laminated construction

5-7 layers of rotary-laminated hardwood veneer (oak, walnut or ash)

The fibers are arranged alternately at 30° intervals, allowing greater freedom in bending.
Maximum radius of curvature: 400 mm (concave) / 600 mm (convex)

Surface properties
Straight vertical fibers (groove depth: 0.8-1.2 mm)
Additional microgroove for better light diffusion.

Mechanical properties
MOR (Modulus of Rupture): 68-72 N/mm²
MOE (Modulus of Elasticity): 12,500–14,000 N/mm²
Moisture stability: ±0.3% dimensional change rate at 30-80% relative humidity

Maintenance procedures

Cleaning: pH-neutral wood cleaner (do not use abrasive tools)
Refinishing: Light sanding (240 grit) + touch-up (every time) 5-8 years
Damage repair: Epoxy wood filler compatible with original finish.

This engineered wood solution blurs the line between typical natural materials and modern geometric complexity. Its technical parameters meet architectural requirements while maintaining the natural tactile sensations and warmth of wood.
